Winter Break Art Workshops
For Kids & Teens
Kids Ages 6-11: 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Teens Ages 12-14: 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Members: $30 (per day)
Non-members: $35 (per day)
The Museum offers art workshops twice a year during school-year holidays, giving students an opportunity to create works of art during their school break. Each workshop centers on a new theme, and students work with various mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture and more.
Each individual day offers a unique art lesson. Sign up for one day or both for each theme. Day 1 not required to participate in Day 2. Members: $60 (both days), Non-Members: $70 (both days).

Explore the outdoor BMoA Sculpture Garden and find inspiration for various winter themed projects. Students will learn about mixed media and incorporate materials such as watercolor paints, markers, and photography to create their wonderful artwork.

Once Upon a Time
Discover the various aspects of storytelling through creativity, writing, and illustration. Students will learn about mixed media art and incorporate materials such as oil pastels, watercolor, and markers into their own fascinating stories.

About the Class:
No experience is required. Early drop-offs or late pick-ups are not permitted and will result in an additional fee. For these programs, parents are encouraged to be outside the classroom during instruction (excluding Side by Side). All supplies are included in class fees unless stated otherwise. Space is limited and if the class is full, please contact the front desk to be placed on a waiting list. To ensure the safety of not only the artwork on display, but the safety of others, BMoA has strict rules for gallery behavior. Please inform your group of these rules before arriving.
- Keep hands at least one arms-length away from artwork and the walls
- There is no horseplay or running allowed in any areas of the museum
- It is expected that chaperones will intervene to prevent any misbehavior in the galleries
- Students must use their "inside voices;" no yelling or screaming of any kind
- Absolutely no food or drink is allowed inside the Museum
- You are allowed to take photographs, but no flash photography
