Museum on the Move

Bakersfield Museum of Art’s Museum on the Move program brings an interactive museum-quality arts experience to sites throughout Kern County such as libraries, community houses, after school programs, and activity leagues, reaching everyone from kindergartners to adults. During each session, a BMoA educator presents an art lesson and project, introducing every class to important artists, art theories, and art movements. Museum on the Move provides students with a means for self-expression and an avenue to see themselves, their heritage, and their environment in a whole new way.
