As 2025 comes to a close, we thank you for your continued support of Bakersfield Museum of Art. Your generosity has helped make BMoA an essential part of our community, providing exhibitions of fine art, education, and community events for all. With your year-end, tax-deductible donation, you can ensure we can continue this important work into the future.

EXHIBITS

With your help, BMoA can continue to present world class exhibitions that showcase a diversity of artistic voices and communities. Each artist’s work displays exceptional skill and talent, from established artists like Pamela Carroll and Luciana Abait to emerging artists like Kristopher Raos.

ART EDUCATION

In 2025, more than 15,000 children in Kern County participated in our art education programs. ArtReach provides visual art instruction to Bakersfield City School District 5th graders. Our ArtWorks program offers specialized instruction to high school juniors and seniors considering careers in the visual arts. In our Saturday Studio, Summer Art Camp, and Spring Break Workshops, students study fine art while cultivating the problem-solving and patience needed to succeed into adulthood. For many students, BMoA provides a child’s first encounter with the world of art. Your support allows us to ignite creativity and inspire the next generation of artists, thinkers, and innovators.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Your donation also helps us bring our community together through events that celebrate the power of art. From Second Saturdays to Art After Dark to our Via Arté Italian Street Painting Festival, we offer something for everyone, making the museum a vibrant hub of creativity and connection.

Donate today

Every dollar donated ensures that the Bakersfield Museum of Art continues to be a cultural epicenter that engages, inspires, and builds community through visual arts for generations to come. Your donation supports all areas of the museum, including preservation of the permanent collection of over 350 works, visiting exhibitions, and youth art education and outreach.
