Part of an ongoing series of exhibitions exploring the fundamentals of art and its influence on artist practices and art history, the selected body of work explores how artists use the visual element of color to evoke an emotional reaction.
Bakersfield Museum of Art’s Permanent Collection, comprised of over 400 pieces, highlights California artists from the 19th century to the present and seeks a comprehensive survey of art produced in and about California.
