Join us for a special conversation between exhibiting artists Ann Diener and Ali Vaughan as they discuss the ideas, processes, and landscapes that shape their work. Grounded in shared interests in place, memory, and transformation, both artists reflect on how land, water, and time leave lasting impressions on artistic practice. From Diener’s layered investigations of infrastructure and environmental change to Vaughan’s intuitive, process-driven abstractions, the conversation traces parallel approaches to understanding place as lived experience. Moderated in a casual, dialogue-driven format, this program invites audiences to listen in as Diener and Vaughan reflect on their respective creative processes, evolving bodies of work, and the points at which their practices intersect. A Q&A with the audience will follow.
