Wray workshop

The Bakersfield Museum of Art and Bakersfield Art Association will offer a one-day painting workshop on December 12 with Southern California artist William Wray.

Wray, known as the "urban impressionist" will demonstrate and teach a plein air class in oil, at the Bakersfield Museum of Art and the surrounding neighborhood. Wray is well known for his soft-edged city-scapes depicting the faded glory of older, decaying city streets and architecture. His one-man show will open at the Museum on December 11.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Tuition: is $80 and space is limited. For more information, call Cindy Stiles at 664-1931 or contact the Bakersfield Art Association Gallery at 872-2806.
